| In the 50's this train was based at Getty Ave. yard in Paterson and ran caboose first eastbound to the east of Washington Ave. Bellville before returning .A second train out of Croxton must have been working the east end.At time of photo local was operating out of Croxton yard via the NX drawbridge in N.Newark.Train is returning east after drilling Royal Paper(now Van Ness).Golf carts are Harley Davidson. The area across the tracks were fields and woods until the early 60's when the branch was still adding traffic. |
